Fire Warden Training CourseEmployers and those in control of any work activity that may be at risk of a fire, must make sure work is properly planned, supervised and carried out by competent people within the workplace. They have a responsibility to make sure that fire safety measures and evacuation procedures have been put in place.
Fire Warden responsibilitiesFire wardens have a duty after training to make sure any person onsite in the event of a fire, to assist in the safe evacuation of workers within the workplace, they must make sure that all designated areas are cleared and that safe route of exit is clear from any obstructions.
The fire warden must if possible close the doors and help to assist the fire within reason so far as reasonably practicable, they must be trained on current laws and the use of fire extinguishers.
