Ladder Fall Restraint Fall Arrest Training

Ladder Fall Restraint Fall Arrest Training Course

This training course generally known as ladder training level 1 – 2 has been designed for those who use ladders at work but need two hands free to complete the task when working at height.

There are 4 levels of ladder training, the first level been basic ladder training  which covers ladder access and egress. Then you have the level 1 where the user must wear a harness with a fall restraint lanyard as well as their general PPE.

Followed by level 2 training which requires the employee to climb ladders when using a fall arrest system which allows the employee to have two hands free when accessing the ladder whilst carrying equipment up the ladder.

Level 3 ladder training is the same as level 1 and 2, the only difference been that you still must access the ladder attached to a fall arrest system when carrying your roof ladder up the leaning ladder with you, then when you reach your working platform you put the fall restraint system into place before placing the roof ladder and transferring across.
