SKR Rope Grab with Twist Grip Karabiner

The SKR rope grab is designed to provide a vertical/inclined fall protection system when attached to a safety line at height.
This system is used in a variety of applications throughout the UK and Europe.
Attach rope to a fixed or portable ladder, tie off at the bottom, attach the SKR rope grab with karabiner to the front D ring of your harness, this will allow the operative to maintain three points of contact when climbing the ladder.
The SKR RGA12 rope grab has been around for many years and is used in a variety of industries throughout Europe and the UK in the height industry. The rope grab is very popular within the Satellite, Telecoms and Aerial industries.
The SKR rope grab should be connected directly to the front chest attachment of a harness via a karabiner, which is then fastened onto the kernmantle rope. This ensures that the operative is held close to the structure and in the event of a slip, the fall distance and loading on the top anchor is minimal.
The purpose of the rope grab is to reduce the fall distance in the event of a fall from height when used on general ladders, fixed ladders, roof ladder access, although the rope grab can be used in other applications within the height industry.
