Ridgegear RGP4 – 6 mtr Wire Pole Strap

This product is used in many industries, the wire pole strap can be used for maintaining a third point of contact in a restraint postion. It is strongly advised that you are competent on any form of work restraint.

The wire strap comes with a protective coating to protect the inner core cable.

The wire pole strap is a multi purpose work-positioning device, designed to be clipped to the side of a harness or work-positioning belt or used independently.

Although originally designed for tree surgeons this product has many uses dependant on the industry you may work in.

Example chimney strop as it is known has been used by the satellite, aerial and broadband industry for many years as its purpose is to fasten around a chimney which then allows the operative to clip on a short lanyard with karabiner or scaffold hook, this then gives a 3rd point of contact.

Please note you must be trained on its use and it goes without saying that the structure must be strong enough to take the load.
