This Asbestos Awareness training course will help employees with an appreciation of the requirements of UK legislation.
Asbestos Awareness training is mandatory for those who will or may come into contact with asbestos as part of their daily work activity.

By the end of the training course, delegates will have learned the skills necessary to avoid the risks from asbestos, for example for building work, no employee should carry out work which disturbs the fabric of a building unless the employer has confirmed that ACMs are not present.

Who Is This Course For?

The Asbestos awareness training Course is for employees that need to be aware of the hazards and the risk of coming into contact with asbestos.

Asbestos awareness training is beneficial because it provides information for employees, in fact anyone who is at risk of asbestos exposure in the work place of the health risks.

The course also provides the knowledge and skills needed to work in a safe manner to avoid disturbing asbestos, and explains how to deal with asbestos-related emergencies, should they occur.

Training Requirements

It is a legal requirement that all who may come across asbestos in their day to day work must have been provided with asbestos awareness training. Appropriate training specific to the tasks you will undertake should be given if you intentionally work on asbestos.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing this training course will receive a certificate on the safe use of abrasive wheels which can be used as evidence of Continuous Professional Development.

Course Location

Apple Group Training locations are based around the UK.

This training course can also be held at anyone of our 300 partner training centres in the UK.

If you cannot travel to one of our training centre locations then we can come to your premises to provide training on-site as long as your workplace is suitable.
