This course is for those who require knowledge on the inspection of steps and ladders in the workplace including hop-ups, combi-ladders, and podiums.
This ladder inspection training course will provide delegates with the correct understanding of the current legislation in order to be able to inspect access equipment, ladders, roof ladders, and stepladders.
Delegates will also be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to identify all critical faults and be able to complete a record of the equipment details and inspections as outlined in PUWER Regulations 1998.
By completing this training course, you will learn:
How to accurately record the details of ladders and steps.
Identify the component parts of ladders and steps.
How to inspect ladders and stepladders and identify safety-critical faults.
Record your findings in accordance with the statutory requirements.
Recommend action to be taken if faults are found on the equipment.

Delegates successfully completing this training course will receive a certificate that may be used as evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) within your industry.
